More design inspiration

Modernist living showcased – this is a book from the Australian modernist tradition that has four essays by architects of the day who were integral in the design of housing and community living in the 70s. Its simultaneously encouraging and discouraging that the same challenges architects faced then regarding shortage of housing, urban sprawl and the commonly held thought of design references back to a bygone era, are the same challenges we face today. Have we achieved that much in the last 30-40 years? Or do we keep knocking on the same doors of problems?
